Refund & Cancellation Policy

How to stop renewals, request a refund and resolve failed generations.

Last updated: 2026-10-30

Purchases and Renewals

This policy covers video purchases and subscriptions on Rap AI Video. Starter is a one-time purchase and does not renew. Monthly and annual plans are charged in advance and renew automatically until canceled. Annual plans charge the full annual amount and grant the annual generation allowance upfront, rather than charging each month. Review the billing period and total on Pricing and at checkout.

How to Cancel a Subscription

  1. Sign in to the account used for the purchase and open Settings → Billing.
  2. Find the subscription in the table, open its actions menu (⋯), choose Cancel subscription, and confirm.
  3. Check that its status has changed to Canceled. If cancellation fails or you cannot access your account, email support@rapaivideo.io for assistance.

Cancellation takes effect when the payment provider confirms it and stops future renewals. Cancel before your next renewal to prevent that charge. Already purchased, unused generations remain available and do not expire unless the related purchase is refunded. Cancellation does not automatically refund previous payments or prorate an unused month or year. It does not extend the seven-day availability of generated video files.

Closing the page, deleting a video or sending a refund request does not cancel a subscription. A one-time Starter purchase requires no cancellation. Canceling an unpaid checkout only closes that checkout; it does not cancel an existing subscription.

Failed Generations and Returned Uses

When a generation is confirmed failed, the reserved paid generation is returned to your balance, or the failed free attempt becomes available again. A pending task or temporary network error is not a confirmed failure: reopen your video library to refresh its status. If the result or returned use is still missing, contact support with the task identifier.

Returning a generation does not automatically refund a payment to your card. A completed generation can vary from your expectations; you may still contact support to have an output problem reviewed.

Refund Requests and Review

Payment refunds are reviewed case by case. Contact us about duplicate charges, a purchase that did not deliver its generation allowance, an unresolved service failure, an unintended renewal or any other purchase issue. We review the payment, delivery and usage records and the circumstances of your request before deciding whether a refund is due.

There is no blanket money-back guarantee or automatic refund solely because generations are unused, you cancel a subscription, or a completed output does not match your expectations. These situations can still be submitted for review. This policy does not limit any refund or consumer rights required by applicable law.

How to Request a Refund

Email support@rapaivideo.io from your account email address and include:

  • The order number from Settings → Payments, purchase date and charged amount.
  • The issue and the outcome you are requesting.
  • Any related video/task identifiers or error messages.

Please contact us promptly after noticing an issue. Do not send passwords or full card details. We will review the request and reply with the outcome or any information needed. Review time varies with the issue; there is no guaranteed refund window. Any mandatory legal deadlines still apply.

If a Refund Is Approved

Approved payment refunds are sent through the payment processor to the original payment method. The time until the funds appear depends on the processor and your bank; approval does not mean immediate receipt.

The generation allowance associated with a refunded purchase is revoked. If that was your only qualifying purchase, full-video playback and downloads may become locked again. Related upgrade purchases may need to be resolved before the original purchase can be refunded. A refund does not by itself confirm subscription cancellation: check Billing separately to ensure future renewals have stopped.
